Jake Decker has spent twenty years as a homicide detective in one of America’s most complicated cities. The cases change. The weight does not.
The Decker Files is a sequential series: each book stands alone, but the story runs deeper the further you go.
The Decker Files: Book 1
A businessman is found dead in a Rittenhouse Square parking garage. The case pulls Decker back twenty years, to a murder he worked, a file he never closed, and a question he has never been able to answer.
The Wound That Waited is a novel about what gets buried, what survives, and what happens when the same crime finds you twice.
The Decker Files: Book 2
The second novel in The Decker Files series. Coming December 2026.
